Topic: I own a chrome shop in sacramento ca. I bought a 64 beetle hard top wi

I own a chrome shop in sacramento ca. I bought a 64 beetle hard top with a sun roof. We are going to restore it completely. One of the things we are going to do is chrome out the whole care inside and out. Kinda like a west coast customs thing. I'm trying to put a value on it for sale when it's done. Anyone have any ideas. It will be a true panty dropper when it's done. I'm open for ideas also. It will be a frame off rebuild. New seals and custom stario. Thanks to all who reaspond

You had better check the laws first. Could be blinding in sun.

You live in Pakistan and own a shop in Ca?

Often these posts have a bogus link attached, that gets moderated and removed. I'll usually delete the entire post, but other moderators are less severe.

It's a VERY borderline post.  It had no spam link...but is sort of "on topic"...so thought it would make for interesting conversation at least (without deleting it)! wink

Like "jamesdagg" asked the OP earlier..."from Pakistan & owns a chrome shop in California?".  Could happen...but seems a stretch.

I thought this sounded familiar.  This is just another bot reposting an older post:

Leaving these posts has a small danger, as the user profile may have a link to a website that may be malicious, or solicit email, etc. It can take some time to look for all such back doors and moderate them correctly. We try tnot to be too agressive in deleting and banning users, but the web is a dangerous place...
I've had to re-image 3 PCs for sneaky backdoor infections that could not be removed, and that's behind a double firewall.

Re: I own a chrome shop in sacramento ca. I bought a 64 beetle hard top wi

Cant you track the users IP address and like put a block on it? or at least notify his web provider of his suspicious activity? Or is that a little overkill?

Re: I own a chrome shop in sacramento ca. I bought a 64 beetle hard top wi

We can ban addresses and users, but most addresses are dynamic and change day to day. Banning a range of addresses helps, but can also affect other folks. We would rather not over-moderate.
