Topic: Horn Don't Work

Goooooood mornin guy's.  I had the clutch & throw out bearing replace on my 72 Super, but before that the horn was working fine.
Now, it don't, I checked the horn it self and that works, I checked the horn ring contacts in the steering wheel their ok and the fuse is ok.
Are there any wires going thru the tunnel from the engine compartment or from the battery it self under the back seat?     thanks guys    Cuse

Re: Horn Don't Work

Unless someone modified the wiring in a really weird way, no. Check out the schematic below.

now, it can be hard to follow, but the horn wires are in there, and none of them go any farther back than the steering column. Just trying to think now, if '72 used the same connectors at the steering column as '73 supers, which are just basically push-in connectors, combined into 2 sections. there might also be a relay (judging from the pic), just give it a jiggle and see. if all else fails, send her to the mechanic tongue

Re: Horn Don't Work

Any luck with the horn? Mine isn't working either.

Re: Horn Don't Work

take 2 wires directly to your battery to the horn and listen
