You know, this last week I disassembled my original Craftsman 1/2 inch drive rachet. It had been slipping and I stopped using it because I did not want any busted knuckles. Turns out it slipped because dried lubricant was caked on the pawl, preventing it from engaging properly. A good internal cleaning, oiling, and re-assembly made it good as new smile

You get what you pay for.  I like going to HF.  If I need something that has to last, not HF.  HF is on my tool shopping list of locations.
