Topic: Does applying brake in reverse ADJUST the brakes?

On  a beetle ( mine is a 1970) I seem to recall, from years ago, someone saying to occasionally roll backwards and apply brakes for a little bit, and it will actually adjust the brakes in some way.  Any truth to that?

No. You have to manually adjust them.

That is true on newer cars, but not ours.
