Wanting better sound, and already have two basic speakers in the doors. This is a convertible, and would like any ideas on the best way to get some sound. 'Major' speakers may be too much for the small cut-hole in the door, so I am thinking of what i can put under the seat. Or, would the output be too muffled to even bother with it. Anyway, tht is as far as I have thought of it, so anxious for any experience with this. Thanks
I made some custom "boxes" for 4x6 component speakers (tweeter and 4" midrange plates) and put them right up under the dash, about knee level, but out of the way tucked up underneath. Facing the middle of the car at about a 45 degree angle. All I used was some angle iron and scraps of plywood. Also have two 6x9's in cheap boxes in the rear parcel tray area, on either side of my toolbox. Sound is pretty good, at least good enough for what I listen to

As far as I know, they don't make these for a vert
putting speakers in the rear kick panel should work also. And getting quality speakers make a big difference
Yeah, they're like those, but a lot less bulky and intrusive. I need all the legroom I can get. And I second that, get some good speakers.
