Topic: 62 Ghia Gas Gauge

Did a 62 Ghia come with an electric gas gauge or was it cable operated? It is presently equipped with the stock 6 volt system. ALSO  if it WAS an electric gauge system does it take a special float unit? I used to know this stuff but have forgotten half I ever knew.......

62 Beetle was cable operated, I think first year for a stock gauge, so I'd guess the same for Ghia.

Thank you Tom, I havent seen it yet but customer on phone SWEARS there is an electrical connection on the float, will let you know what I find out....
