Topic: old motor description serial#

i have got a number below the cooling fan need to know what it is gx012769 or last two 39 not sure but inside under seat in center # is 118962290 can anyone help me

Welcome to Volkswebbin.
Your car should be a '68 from the serial number under the back seat. I have no idea about the number on the engine.

How about posting up a picture of your engine?  That will allow us to give you better information concerning the nature of your engine.
