Topic: stereo relays

I've seen a schematic for a circuit that allows you to listen to the stereo with the engine off until you open the drivers door. This is for earlier VW's without the buzzer circuit. This circuit requires 4 relays. Wouldn't the one below do the same? Can someone verify that this would work?

The arrows are diodes.
