If you want medical insurance and weed come to British Columbia.

On a serious note though, if you want universal health care you will need to pay more tax. It's very expensive. I've heard that we Canadians are the most insured people in the world. We don't have much money but if your covered for calamities you don't need savings

Nobody cares about the smokers but they do search hard for the grow ops because it's embarrassing that pot has become B.C's biggest export. There are entire streets devoted to it and at least one whole town and who knows how many remote operations.

It's because the money involved is worth the risk due to light penalties, so far. A person can grow $40,000 worth in 3 months in a spare bedroom. Prohibition always creates a huge underground market, out of control. When will they learn?

We have only seen failed versions of communism, not the utopia Marx envisioned. Unfortunately Marx didn't account for human nature and greed. Cuba has a better health care system than Canada or the US. They might actually be a prosperous nation if it weren't for the embargo.

No, he didnt do anything to me, but I have heard about some real shady stuff going on there. I heard from this guy, that someone with a bug had his interior stolen from his car at home, and went over to haymens to see if he had a set, and it turns out that the guy found his interior right there at haymens. I've also heard both he and his bro have done some big time for the actual car theft stuff. Did he try to steal anything of yours?

Hiya Sean,

The world is not a black and white kind of place.  There are many shades of gray to be found.

In your discussion concerning socialism you cite Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, and other countries that have tried or are trying some form of socialism (in your definition).  Yes, there have been awful travesties of human rights in the name of socialism.  But does that mean it is unequivocally wrong?  If so, how do you explain the success of the Scandanavian countries?  England?  Canada?  Japan?  France?  All countries with some form of nationalized health care.
