Topic: 1999 Mexi Beetle in Vegas/Denver

Seriously considering selling my 99 Mexi.  The clutch just went out and it needs a tune up and possibly a valve job. 

It's tires are about 3 years old with full size spare (it has a patch job), original VW hubcaps.  Exterior repainted 3 years ago.  Starts up everytime, no hesitation in cold weather.  Has a/c unit that needs belt and recharged.  The interior upholstery has a few stains, a nickle sized tear on the driver's side and a 3 inch area on the passengerside where the seaming is coming undone.  There is no rust that I am aware of.  Both floor pans were replaced about 3 years ago also and I moved to the desert about 2 years ago so she hasn't had much time to accumulate any body damage.

It has a clean Ohio title is registered as a 73 and about 53k miles.

Right now it is located in Las Vegas but I'm moving to Denver next Thursday.  The plan was to tow it to Denver with us and it was going to continue to be my daily driver until I could afford to get a second vehicle and give the bug a rest.

If there is no interest here in Vegas I will continue with the plan to tow to Denver and will just park it until I can fix her or find a buyer there.

Thanks for the interest.  I'm in the middle of moving and should be hitting the road to Colorado in the next day or two.  Where are you located?  I'll try and get some photos up once we're in Colorado.

Im actually up in Ontario Canada, but will be coming through Colorado Around mid-July. If I would like to buy it, maybe it would be possible to place a deposit on it until I could pick it up. It all depends on what you would rather do I guess.

My fiance thinks he can fix her up and now that we're in Colorado there's no rush to sell.  Tell ya what, email me this summer (kt.truesdell@gmail.com) and we'll see where we're at with it.  For now though, we've decided to hang on to her.
