1961 15-window deluxe vw bus

Hey gang one of my vw bus junkie friends has picked up another great bus (I swear he buys one every month )- it is a very original '61 15-window deluxe. He doesn't have room to keep it so he is looking to sell.

It spent much of its life in North Dakota and then the last 10 years in Montana so it is extremely dry and nearly rust free. It needs almost no body work so is ready for a new paint and a good interior resto and you'd have a $35k bus on your hands. It really starts and runs well so it would make a perfectly good daily driver and it had a repaint years ago so the exterior looks real nice - the interior could use some work and it could use some new tires though.

It has had some work done already: replaced the gas tank and fuel lines, a new clutch was installed along with a new throw-out barring and pressure plate. A new flywheel and main shaft seal were also replaced at the same time as well as new axle boots.
