I wish!  Mike and I had a great time last year but my sister's wedding is Saturday and the buggy is back in Nevada : (  Have a GREAT time!!

Well, it sounds as if there is somebody left who knows how to sell a show.  Out here it's typically $15 to get in the gate after you pay $10 to park.  Sheesh!

I took my Dad and his Ghia and had a blast at Funfest.  Dad is having problems with his legs and I didn't sleep much but had such fantastic support from my VW friends from Kentucky, Paul & Janell Berry and Paul Brown and the rest of the support from Mike Yager & staff was second to none even providing a scooter for Dad. After the morning awards Dad & I were asked to judge but I had to decline as it was just a little too hot for him.  Besides the weekend was really just about him and I went to spend my time with him. Saw some fantastic cars, scored some great swap meet deals and enjoyed some great company seeing many old VW friends.  Dad hasn't been able to stop smiling since our return on Sunday.
