You know when times are tough and you're worried about the future and what it may hold for you, a relaxing ride in your vintage VW sure can ease your mind!

This weekend before the little snow we got, I went out in the '66 to fetch some brews for a garage session. Of course the 10 minute drive somehow turned into a
3 hr tour go figure. Therapeutic indeed!

I installed an adjustable GERMAN front beam last year, the one with the needle bearings and not the urethane bushings. Thud Thud!  No more GRRROOAN! from
the bushings. I am done with them silly red things! lol.

Now that unemployment has set in, my 3 "customers" that have VW's are asking me if I am gonna start up something that will sustain my life. I will send them
3ea. $10,000.00 contracts to service and repair their VW's and see how it goes! Parts not included of course.

I'm just stoppin' by to see how everyone is, and it appears that all is well for the most part.  Same sarcasm.... Same wit.... Anthony's Sally is lookin' great....

Found out from the car guy over the past weekend that Sally was sold to a wonderful, free-spirited woman from Gainesville, so I'm really happy about that.  smile  Knowing that she's with someone who will treasure her makes me feel ok about the whole thing.

This semester in school is almost over (first week in May) and I am ECSTATIC about that!!  I've had about enough of school for awhile.  Still have to finish up in the fall semester, but hoping I can find some sort of job over the summer that will be more in line with my schooling.  We'll see what happens.

OK, well, just wanted to say hi and let you guys know about my Sally....

Good to hear from you Kristine. Well I guess your Sally went to a good home. The only other things I want to add is Flat 4 Sprint Stars and new carpet, and maybe a new headliner. After that my Sally will be finished.

Not a proud owner of Sally 1969 Sedan with a burned 1915 tiger under the deck lid.
Also George a 1957 Sedan, not yet started with Resto.
