Topic: WTB - '68 12v Turn Signal Switch with Headlight Dimmer "stops"

Last year I bought a new 12v Turn Signal Switch with Headlight Dimmer for my Herbie, and it does work fine.

BUT...

The little "stops" which kinda cover the screws so that you don't over-tighten the screws was not in it (they assume you can use the old ones?), and now my high-low beam is so touchy that every time I try to initiate the turn signal the high-beam fires on.

If anyone has any of these little stoppers that they'd be willing to give away or sell for pennies I'd really appreciate it.

Do you mean the metal sleeves that go in the switch housing?

To be honest, I'm not sure (cause mine are missing and I was told that the stock one had them LOL).

They are the little sleeves that only allow the screw to be turned in so far...

Just a thought. would a small roll pin the correct OD work if it were drilled out for the screws?

So I just threw these in my stash. Someday just someday they will come in handy. Looks like the day has arrived.  Let's see, NOS SWF German OG OE

Send me a form e-mail and I will respond to you with my address info to send them.

Also, let me know what you want ($) for 'em.

(How many do I need for one switch unit? LOL)

P.S. You do NOT want cookies from me... but we'll come up with something. :-)

Shouldn't there be one for each of the four corner screws?
