Topic: VOM Questions for Jim...or anyone else!

Here is a picture of a Micronta (Radio Shack) Volt-Ohm Meter I picked up at pawn shop.

I understand most of it except for the hookup to measure the AC and DC amps. The connections are in series with the "load" correct? OK, which sockets of the four along the bottom (10A , A?, "-" and "+") are used?

Your help is most appreciated!

The ground or common always goes in the - plug. The A plug is for mA's and the 10A is for up to 10 amps. The unfused warning means don't connect leads to power in parallel, just in series.

This meter is not good for testing batteries (AA etc.) because battery testers put the battery under load for testing.

Perfect, Jim!!! Thanks and thanks for the link.  I tried the old manual link for model 22-194: No Matching Items Found.
