Topic: VW Aircraft engine

Here's what a fully turned out VW engine looks like.  Modified by Limbach Engines in Germany for light aircraft and gliders.

Although they don't credit VW in their text, it is clearly a VW flat four.

Back in the 1980'a a friend's father was building an airplane kit.  The engine was from a VW.

1974 Beetle- Red Bug
1971 Beetle--in pieces, will be finished someday.
1978 Westfalia--workin' on it.
1979 Triple White convertible--rusty hulk, but can't bring myself to part it out.

Yeah are local Machinist was buildin a 1835cc for a guy that was gonna putt it in a Plane .
