Debbi,

All depends on what you consider 2 days drive.  And if you mean 2 days round trip (meaning 1 day there & 1 day back).

Los Angeles, Ca. is about 2350 miles...which is about 35 hours driving from Cleveland.  So 17.5 hours of driving/day.  That would be  sort of a maximum drive distance...plus I am guessing (at least) Southern, California has plenty of aircooled VW parts.

Yes for the "average" person that would a lot of driving...but I am sure there are people that have done it...plus if you have a 2nd driver...that makes it much more doable.

If your talking no more than 8 hours driving/day (16 total)...than that would get you within a 1000 mile radius of Cleveland.

Just some thoughts to narrow things down.

I heard of an event outside Chicago the week ending 10/28.

I'll get more details and get back to you.

I'd like to hear more about that one too when you find out more. I've got a friend who has a vintage VW forum based out of Minneapolis. I'm sure his forum members would love to hear about that one also.
