This would be my 2 cents.
I started restoring my 1960 bug in May. I would rather have quality parts over cheap any day. I did several hours of research online as to where to get good quality parts. And now I only by from two places: www.wolfsburgwest.com (I like them best)

unless what I need I can not find there.
A "true" show car should NOT have ANY parts from JCW.
Not once did I even consider looking at their website because I know, as others have pointed out, you get what you pay for...CHEAP. It should be the absolute last resort.
I have been told that Westcoastmetric.com is the best place to get high quality parts as well such as rubber and trim. Their site is a bit cumbersome to navigate through though.
