Usuall here is the threads are most likely just stretched . I pick the deck lidd upp hold hinge over the flat part of an anvil and smash the raised up thread,s of the hinge, screw hole back flat . If Done with care you can usually use a Slotted end screw too re chase threads , But if there Really Badd then you need a 6mm by 100 tapp too chase them . Go Ahead and Buy this Tapp Anyhow wether You need it or Not for Deck Lidd Its a Cheap Item <, Will Save Your blank thousand times over on your car . As Too Installin Deck Lidd << Practice gettin good at insertin spring end in the body slott and flexin the deck lidd intoo place with out scratchin it . << For the day you do paint the car . Sean
ok I almost folowed that. On the one side of the left plate that sticks out from the body (know what I'm talking about? it like the plates in the last link above) one of the screw holes is either smashed off or most likly rusted off. My question was if you could buy a replacement one.
