Puyallup VW swapmeet

Not sure......but the vw scene sure has gone downhill in the recent years. I cannot sell much of anything at the local events......It is sad...

Hopefully people will buy the stuff.....I hate to take the parts to the scrapyard or the dump.

Pacific Raceway's vw show last year sucked in my opinion....I would love some input on why???

And Craig, I know what you mean.  Last year's meets at Puyallup (one cancelled) were sad affairs.  I'm hoping that was just a reflection of the building program at the fair grounds.  On the bright side the Woodburn meet (in early summer) hosted by the Rose City Volksters seems to be picking up steam.

1970 AS Bug

Just might have to do that Der....That is not too far away, and a great place to visit. My truck gets 10 to 12 mpg, so I won't make any money....but that is not always the idea. I was very discouraged with our biggest (or used to be biggest) show at Pacific Raceways (formerly SIR)
Great weather, and a dismal turnout. I can Ebay the small stuff, but not the big stuff. I sold a bay window rear seat for $20.00 just to get my entry fee. That seat should have sold for much more, even if it was a "bay window" seat. It was perfect...I might just drive up to the show in my commuter car to check it out.

I have two 70's drivers doors for a bug that I cannot give away it seems...Such good doors too. It is sad... I am mystified at how it has turned out over the years. I have gone to bug shows for 20 years and am surprised that I cannot sell the stuff that used to sell. I am not really into selling much, but I buy whole lots of peoples parts, but then cannot resell them for much. Sad sad sad.....Craig
Also have an autostick tranny....a 1980 4 speed rabbit tranny...cannot sell. Have not tried too hard, but I should not have to if I look back a few years.
