1984 Water cooled Vanagon westfalia, needs enginework in Chicagoland

For Sale: Damn near new looking original paint, one owner 1984 Westfalia FULL camper. Original white paint, no accidents, no rust except for a little bleeding in the seam by the rear bumper like they all do. Beautiful original interior (brown) with stove, sink, refrigerator etc. Pop up roof in excellent condition as well. Tires, driveline ..all the rest in fantastic condition. 183,000 miles. Motor knocks from I assume the common brearing cap the seems to make noise at about this mileage although could be a stuck lifter ?? I haven't had time to dig into it and wont for 6-12 months due to customer restoration obligations.  I see vans like this constantly advertised for $6000-9000 in top running condition. Runs and drives but I'm afraid to drive it far and ruin anything internally.  $4000.00 as is..more fixed and ready to go. Pictures available but please..only if you are interested.
