Topic: A Thank You to BtlMex

As had been posted here before, BtlMex.com has found that there is not enough business for stock, late-model Beetle parts from the VW factory to make it profitable to keep their website open now that Beetles are out of production and their car sales are ending.
As someone who's been driving Beetles since '62 I really appreciate their business, as the "remanufactured" cars we got from them were the last way to get a legal "new" old Beetle. I've put 37,000 miles on mine since 2000 without a hiccup, and it drives and looks like new. (Except for some hail damage...) I might even sell my '62, as these cars spoil you.
Since they announced they were closing down I've placed several orders for spare parts that are hard to get in the US, and they delivered everything promptly, without errors or expediting. Even a spare hydraulic longblock came within two weeks. The quality has been as good as anything currently available.
Thank you Miguel!

Re: A Thank You to BtlMex

Tom, I'll second that. Miguel has always been acurate and fairly prompt at shipping me parts. I have ordered some replacement parts in the past for my cars and for stock and recently ordered a bunch of Mexi only stuff "just in case"
