Topic: almost have a full house
There is our 1956 Deluxe Micro Bus with Sunroof sitting there near the 1964 Crew cab and back by the
apple trees rest ( on blocks)the 1968 Bus with the dash plaque saying "Made for Timothy Leary" on oil pressure and temperature gauges- it has the great hurst shifter.
As a shed by our daughters house sits the '78 sunroof 7 seat Van full of gardening tools --the sliding door justs lifts off and on now.
Today we got the 1980s addition to our collection a '86 seven seat Syncro Van. Sort of a Bronze Metallic and very clean- new tires and exhaust system.
Rides quite nice -- I'm going to try to be open minded about the wasserboxer.
Every spring I like to go and start as many of the cars that have motors and this year my grandson and I were able to start the '68 and the '78 VWs and a couple of the old Volvos.
The salt that the hiways puts on the road during the winter has helped feed the rust worm on most of our cars.
Getting a solid van again sure feels good--
