Well Generators can be funny but if it,s workin ? I would just check all wireing for bare spot,s etc check connection,s , feel the regulator make sure it isnt gettin hot on ya . Could be that the Generator wasnt fully polarized ? Generators are finnicky some times the magnets can reverse polarity inside them when removed or a new one is installed . <, Probably happens 1 out of 10 gen,s when R  and Rrd ? Theres usually a wireing diaghram in all buggy manual,s on how ta polarize generator,s ? Few of us here seem ta think that polarization is neccessary every time it is removed or new one is installed ? << Irregardless of wether or not it,s working ? They say too polarize it any how ? Me im kinda lazy i just slapp it on there and go if dont work i remove electrical connection,s and polarize it ? But then again i have sht load of gen,s and volt reg,s layin around if thing,s dont work out ?    Sean
