If just 3 and 4, it could be something (paper, rag, leaves)sucked in
through the fan and stuck on the oil cooler. Also check compression.
Poor ring sealing causes overheating. New piston/cyl set, new valve
guides and new exhaust valves are not expensive and always a good
investment if you want to keep an old motor alive for a few more
