new rockers

i have just a quick question about rockers before i go out and buy
new ones.i have a 1600 daul port with what i believe to be a stock
cam i have not taken it out to measure it.i bought the motor new and
i asum that the cam would be stock i did not buy the up grade on
this motor so i'm at lose about size of it.i plain to talk to the
people i bought it from to get the specks.Any way i was thinking
about going from a 1:1:1 to a 1:4:1 rockers , but not sure if it
would be worth it at all. i read some where that it would improve
performance. as long as it is a big bore values which it right now i
don't remember the exact size. does anyone have any good or bads
about doing this or would it be a waste of time.
