Carb Help Update

Well, I got my Bug back up and running, but not without having to
replace the carb...AGAIN!

A friend who had an extra carb let me borrow his and the car ran
fine with it.

When I went to buy the new carb from my usual VW guy , who happens
to be the same one that I bought the other "new" carb from he told
me that a lot of people have been having problems with those carbs.
They were Bocars. That doesn't explain why I had two of my own carbs
do the same thing and then the one of my buddies ran fine, but... He
sold me a new one for 50% off. Not bad..I really don't think it was
all that great a deal for me, but it got me a new carb and my car
running.

The new one is a Kafer. Brand new supposedly, not rebuilt. I've
never dealt with one of these brand of carbs, but so far it is doing
well.
