Topic: Carb upgrade
What is the prefered carb upgrade for a 1971 camper? The solex needs
rebuilt and I was hoping to improve performance with a better carb.

@@ If you need a choke and are pretty much stock you are limited to a
progressive 2bbl or dual Solex 34's from CB Performance. I
personally liked the duals much more on my 68 Westfalia. At $299.99
complete you cant beat them.

hey what up randy i don't mean to be rude, but a little bit of info
on the motor will give us something to work with. like say by chance
you have a single port motor then we'd go one way compare to a dual
port. there are many things that can be done but daul carbs are some
thing to think about.even just a little bigger carb if it will fit
the intake , not a big difference in perfromance but it maybe enuff
for you.
