Brake light bulb replacement on a 2000 Jetta???

My friend has a Jetta and she needs a new brake light bulb. I
checked the trunk and surrounding area and did not see any screws,
bolts, etc. holding the light cover on. Can anyone give me an idea
of how one would proceed to change the bulb? thanks so much...
