Topic: USING BODY FILLERS

I have a 70 beetle that had rust on the side panel (next to the
battery common with bugs) I cut the rust out completely atleast
from what I can possibly see and sprayed the area with Coroless rust
stabilizer..next I used galvanized metal similar to the metal used
in heating ducts to fabricate the
missing panel. I been trying to find out if Bondo will adhere to
galvanized metals...Ive never heard of not being able to. Although I
recently read that galvanized metal has an oily surface that needs
to be stripped with thinner etc. anyone who has any advice would be
appreciated thanks!
