Topic: I took it out last night!

It's been a few months now and it needs an airing out, feeling couped
up, cramped, and in much need of coming up for air. I couldn't fight
that restless feeling so I decided to take a peek and see what was
going on. Looking unused and shrunken up in 10 degree weather, I
reached down and under and touched it. I ran my hand over it, along
side and finally down the back. Wondering how it would spring to
life, I decided to expose the little guy. Like an unvailing, there
it was, before my eyes, all primed and ready to shoot out the door.
I decided to get comfortable with it, feel it wrap itself around my
body and breath in the aroma only old horse hairs could emit. I
pumped it a few times, took a deep breath and turned it on. It's
alive!! Coming to life!! My whole body was shaking with excitement.
After a moment, it was time to let the little guy do what it does
best. I open the garage door and ripped right out into the midnight
air. We cruised for a while under a full moon then headed home. More
snow tonight, salt tomorrow, guess the little guy has to go back
under wraps. But boy, I can't wait for spring!!!

> Hey, No gender benders here, just the usual love affair with the
bug. If your married, you know what I mean. My wife told me I admire
the car more then her,I should have fit the wedding gown on it and
made little bugs instead of buying them. Anyway, all done in fun but
really, how many yearn for the ride during these cold winter
months???? Ed
