Topic: parts car?

I have a 73 Beetle I'd like to sale as a parts car. Right now, it's
my daily driver but rust problems are getting the best of it. It
has a newly rebuilt 1600 DP (6k miles since overhaul), which I did
my self. All parts on the enigine are new. New tranny (6k miles on
it, too). Everything else is maintained. The car itself is pretty
rusty (heater channels, etc). I have a lot of spare parts for it,
including a 1600 sp that needs a bottom end overhaul. I lost the
title, but I can prove it's mine with registration. If someone
wants it for parts, this shouldn't be an issue. What do you guys
think I should ask for it, and would it be better to just sell parts
separatley?

Well....you can sell it for parts, but you will need to cut the rest
of it up into a few pieces to haul it to a scrap yard. Here in
Washington they want the title to take a chassis or pan at the
scrapyard. Cutting it up makes it scrap metal and not a "vehicle".

I might buy the motor and or tranny from you.

P.S. Love Darrington and Rockport.....Nice area no matter what Bob
Barker says.
