Sean,
I was sure I found that damn short in the wiring but no dice. I
ripped out my tar board in the back and didn't seem to find it. I
didn't like the way the tar board sagged so someday I will pull my
engine and put in a new clutch and at that time I will put something
back on the firewall. Nope not the flasher, not the emergency
switch. This car has so many wire splices that I am not going to
waste anymore time trying to find it. Hopefully I can get the owner
of J Bug's son to rewire it this summer. He charges about $200 to do
it and it takes him around 5 hours. I can wait. He is away at
college (U of A) Arizona. You name the day and time and I will meet
you in Big Bear. I don't live anywhere near Long Beach. I am in
south Orange County. Rancho Santa Margarita to be exact, if you
don't know where that is, it is right next to Mission Viejo. If
Nappy chimes in here with any smart ass comments I will pull him
through this screen and rip his head off! That's a promise. Soon I
will have pictures to post.
