Kris: Most of us here are aircooled junkies but a few are also into
watercooled. TomB has been recommending that unanswered watercooled
questions might be better posed over on the Robert Bentley technical
discussion groups. Also, if you don't have the Bentley manual for
your car, you may want to purchase it when you visit the site.

ps: I'm not familiar at all with your car/engine, but is it possible
there is some sort of spring-loaded idler pulley which you need to
move to release the tension? On some cars these pulleys have a spot
for a 3/8 inch drive ratchet handle to fit into.

It is really easy. There are 2 bolts one on the pulley side and one
on the back. After loossening these 2 bolts you will need to turn
the larger nut located behind the bolt on the pulley side. It will
rotate in the grooves and move the pump.
