96 vw V belt removal

I am attempting to remove the V belt from a 96 VW Jetta, and need to
release the tension from the steering pump to do so. I have removed
what
I understand to be the retaining bolts, but the pump will not move
toward
the engine at all. I am not sure which bolts are necessary to remove
to acomplish this. Any help would be appreciated.
