Topic: dometic fridge parts/canada

Hello all , I have an '88 Westfalia with a fridge that does not
run.The propane powered "option?" will not work. any of you out
there know of anywhere to get info on parts for these "Dometic"
fridges. The manufacturer does not have any parts available as the
fridge is an older model. Also any troubleshooting on these
things(other than the manufacturers handbook)would be appreciated.
Regards , Bill F

Bill,
I have a friend that removed his fridge and left it upside down
overnight and tried it the next day and it worked--don't know why
but you might try it

Re: dometic fridge parts/canada

Hi there,

here is an excellent website:

http://gasrefrigeration.net/dom_techdata/MAN_SM.PDF

http://www.gasrefrigeration.net/parts.htm

I had a RM100 that needs fixing and this website was quite good.
