bad ebay dude-------->L O O K

Clancy,
Look at the overall time period of the feedbacks. Usually a whole
bunch in a relatively short amount of time and all nickle-dime
stuff.
I learned that is how these guys gain trust. Then they "sell" high
dollar stuff and don't come through with delivery.
I'll let some emails I received from other people he has ripped off
to the talking: (these are just a couple!, if you want more, I'll
gladly submit them)

Hi Bill,

Vladimier or Michael Papp or C&M Automotive or VWnut are all the
same
person.He is the biggest scumbag on the face of this earth in my
opinion.
I bought as " Buy It Now" a 1972 Harley Shortster Minibike of
which I am
a collector. He claimed that it was " unbelieveable" and had 54
miles on it
and rated it on a scale of one to ten leading me to believe that it
was
virtually flawless. I paid $2500 plus shipping when the bid was at
$300 to
get this bike. He said he took paypal so I went to pay him. He
claimed it
cost him too much but wanted the money right away. I agreed to pay
the fees
for him of $62.50 and am now at $2562.50. Weeks went by and he was to
crate
and deliver to a Forward Air terminal for me and I would pay the
shipping. A
month later it had not arrived and he always had a million excuses. I
filed
a complaint with Ebay and PayPal and , as usual they did nothing . I
finally
found the bike at a delivery service he had used but had failed to
follow
through with. I ended up having to pay another $500 to get the bike
delivered to a crater to be properly crated for Forward Air and then
shipped
to Seattle. When it arrived it was a total pile of garbage, was not
in
running order and in fact did not even have a spark plug in it, No
original
owners manual, parts book or Title as stated in the ad. When I asked
he said
it was there when I shipped it. Of course it was not as the crater
had only
crated over his garbage pile that was still intact.
When confronted he told me to get in line. He kind of fashions
himself
as educated and well spoken but is really a low life. He claims he
has
nothing but a judgement against him for $3400 and the rest goes to
his
ex-wife. He has a long history of complaints and I will send them to
you.

Bill: Thanks for the additional info. It seems like there are two
individuals with very close ebay IDs: "the-vw-nut" and "vw_nut".
It's unfortunate that an apparently good guy (the latter one) is
being confused with an obviously suspicious character (the former).
Thanks again for the heads-up and take Wendy's advice and go after
the bad dude. Since you know his real name and place of business,
send a letter to the local police/sheriff/district attorney/business
license bureau, and see if they can make his life a little more
complicated. Sometimes having the local law enforcement show up at
your place of business results in a 'religious' experience...but
then again, if he's as bad as he seems to be, nothing may change

Yep, you're exactly correct.
He has been arrested on fraud charges before, this much I have found
out from other people he has ripped off.
I have just phoned the local police department.
I really hate that it's gone this far. All I wanted was the roof for
my westy.

Accordingly a lot of buyers will not post negative feedback if a
seller makes an attempt (what a joke) to make the situation right.
Also real crybaby sellers just get eBay to erase negative feedback.
Apparently if you pay for the service to sell somebody will bend
over to help you sell.
