Why butcher a beetle?? As if they need improving. One day we will
all wonder what happened to the good beetles. Go buy yourself a
toyota, a civic, or a 70's monte carlo.

Ignore what that other guy said about leavin it alone. Considering
that they are building brand new bugs in Mexico, and just about
every last part for them is availible new I seriously doubt there
will ever be a shortage of bugs. Suicide door kits can be
purchased, but even with a kit I wish you luck. But if you want my
opinion, burry that thing on the ground, shave everything, chop it,
cut a big ass hole in the roof for a sliding rag, and install every
last piece of billet aluminum, stainless steel, and chrome you can,
and a nice set of wide white rubbers...Hell yeah, then we would have
a real bug!
