Topic: Old headlight switch

I have what I believe is a old VW headlight switch, but it is not one
that I have ever seen before. The wires attach to the switch with
set screws and the wires are covered with metal done in a spiral
pattern. There is a VW emblem stamped on the switch.
Does any one know what VW used this type of switch

The setscrews indicate the 1950s. How many wires?
