Topic: VW repair manual from early 70's

I'm looking for the title and author, and hopefully a copy, of a
third-party repair manual that came out in the early 70's or
thereabouts.

I keep hearing how this manual was both entertainingly written and
extremely easy to use, giving clear instructions on Beetle
maintenance.

Does anyone remember this book? Does anyone still have a copy and be
willing to give me the publishing info on it?

It's called "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive- A Guide for the
Complete Idiot" by John Muir. See the post under Tech. Forum.
