Topic: The new Beetle doesn't cut it!

Hello, I love air-cooled Volkswagens scince i was 7 i'm now 19!
I get the usual Vw Trends mags and Hot Vw's, But lately they have
too much on Ocean-Dwellers(WATER-COOLED) I'm a proud owner of a '67
and '63 Beetles. I named them, I take care of them, and most of all
enjoy driving 'em! Just the other day I seen a guy and lady driving
in their new Beetle, I waved to them and they looked at me
like, what? It's an old tradition to wave at other Air-cooled Vw's,
and i was trying to accept the new Beetle. I'm getting sick of all
this New Beetle stuff.

Jim,
I'm the owner of a new bug along with two air cooled bugs. I find
things quite the opposite. Most New Bug drivers wave franticly at
me when I go by in one of my old bugs, but when driving my New bug
most people driving the air cooled bugs don't even crack a smile.
Myself, If your driving a Golf, Fox, Jetta, type 4, Microbus, or
whatever, as long as it is wearing a VW, I wave.
Yours in Vdubbin'
Luke.

P.S. Remember, some water-pumpers are more than 20yrs old thus
making them classic automobiles too. It's been almost twenty years
since the last air-cooled beetles came to america.

Hello Luke, By the way Cool name! I am very much relieved because
some guy in his late 40's waved at me! He was driving a New Beetle,
I guess I can except it a little, But I will always love air-cooled
Vw's. Good luck with the new Beetle!
