Topic: FS: 71 buses

I have 2 buses, both 71s, that I am regretfully selling.

Bus 1: This orange and white bus shows only 30k original miles, and
it also sat for 26 years. It has a couple of little rust spots on
the nose but in general is in really good shape. The interior is a
solid 8 out of 10, the headliner is perfect and the black vinyl is
in good shape. I replaced the heads but they haven't even seen the
road yet and have seen a total of about 10 minutes of running time.
When I acquired the bus, the engine was in the backseat wrapped in
burlap. The engine will start but the carb needs either tuning or a
cleaning as the engine will start but it it then dies pretty
quickly. Either way it should be a pretty easy fix even if you need
to pull the carb and clean it. Now the only kicker in this beast is
that it does not exist in the eyes of the state. As previously
stated, the bus sat at the PO house for 26 years. He has no title
for it and the state has no record of it. The dmv has told me that
it shouldn't be a big problem, the vehicle just needs to be brought
to the local dmv so the VIN can be verified.

Bus 2: This bus could be returned to glory. I gutted it at one point,
attended to the little rust spots and then applied felt padding
insulation, sound dampening material (like dynamat), and put
insualtion in between the new panels and the body. I also have an
uninstalled, new headliner for it. The body is kinda rough but the
rust has been removed. There is no engine in it either but with the
mods on the inside and the number of engines around I don't think
making this bus road worthy would be hard. It would also be a good
parts bus for Bus 1 as it has many new seals and other amenities.

As stated, prices are best offer. While it is more important that I
sell my beautiful babies than it is that I make a killing off them
please don't bother coming at me with ridiculous offers. I have been
in the dubbing community for awhile now and even though my view of
these vehicles is colored by my love for them I do have a decent
idea of what they are worth. I am going to try and get some pics
together and please don't be afraid to ask questions. One last
thing, the engine is not for sale without the purchase of the entire
bus. Thanks.
