1960 Beetle original California car with no rust or accidents...EVER.
I have the Black Plates that go with the car. Totally redone from
top to bottom. You could pay $3k for an early Bug and put a lot of
time and money into it to and not get close to the quality and
condition of this car.
New padding and headliner, seat upholstery and padding, stripped and
repainted the seat frames and springs, new carpeting, all new rubber
seals and gaskets, stainless steel body moldings, new complete
brakes including drums, hardware, lines, wheel cyls, master cyl.
Car repainted the original Arctic (blue/green white) color inside and
out. I used base-coat/clear-coat, so it lasts for years. 36hp engine
rebuilt top to bottom as well including rebuilt carb, heads, rods,
crank, cam, lifters, new coil, bearings and seals, etc. Original,
splitcase, non-synchro first gear transaxle works great. New clutch,
pressure plate and throwout bearing. Shifts smooth, no noises,
doesnt pop out of gear - that sort of thing.
This car runs and drives great. Has 4 brand new radials with less
that 20 miles on them. The only thing this car needs is to get the
brake/tail lights and turn signal lights working. The headlights are
working as are the wipers and the rest of the electrical system. Has
a brand new battery in the car as well. This is an all original 6v
system.
