1st Annual Haysville VW Rally, August 28, 2010, 9AM to 4 PM eastern time, in Hayesville, Indiana, at the intersection of Hwy 231 and 56. Free swapmeet and Free parking. Free VW show, and DJ....

It was the first year for it but the turnout wasnt bad.... Had about 35 cars and about 5 or 6 venders... it wasnt advertised as much as it could have been but next year it should flower...It was at a nice shady park with a good DJ and the weather was great. I didnt get any pics because I was selling stuff...ACTUALLY I bought more than I sold, lol.....Dick Funk was there from Greencastle,Indiana with some neat older stuff...He is the owner of D and K Beetles, maybe you heard of him? Where are you from? I forget....

I'm in lower Michigan. I'd really like to get to more events, but it seems like the notice is too short for the distance. We have a local Cars and Coffee, but I've only made it to one so far. I parked away from the main group since there were all these exotics and BMW's and Porsches, but later that week I found a photo of my car on the internet that was taken there, so someone thought it was interesting.
