Topic: Vin on 1968 v.s. 1970 Karmann Ghia

Hi, I have a 1968 VW Karmann Ghia and a 1970 Ghia...  the 1970 has the vin plate on the dash, but the 1968 does not... what gives???

Hiya Eric,

IIRC, VW started up with the dash VIN plate during the 1969 production year.
