Topic: Daily driver!!

It's been two weeks now that the bug has been my daily driver (well- 3 weeks--taking a chance without a license sticker).
It's been years since I've had this luxury--the car has had problems off and on at a time while we breeding I just wouldn't trust getting stranded somewhere with young kids.  But it's all fixed now and I don't need baby seats no more it's bug driving time!!!    I took the Previa van off the road for the summer/fall and we will use my husband's van for any work horse needs.  I think the neighborhood is tired of my van anyway--it has power steering pump squealing 'issues'---we found an ad flyer for a wrecking company on it's windshield.
The kids love getting driven back and forth to school in the bug---my oldest says he's just gone up in popularity.
It's great getting on the road early this year--just driving around yesterday I spotted two others not far from my home--never seen them before!!  So far so good!!

Happy spring driving everyone!!

Both are classier than "spawning"...  ;-P

Congrats on getting back behind the wheel of the Bug, Patty.  I know I miss mine when I can't use it.  My wife recently informed me that she can now see herself driving the '79 vert that's stuffed in the back of the shop.  Project time!

Re: Daily driver!!

Congrats on the daily driver status wink
There's a pair of deep blue super verts running around here now so I don't feel so all alone now.

The Ghia will be going to work tomorrow because my daily driver needs the front wheel bearing replaced.
It's supposed to be around 80 degrees with no rain, and I am being sent out of town to fill in for my boss. Does it get any better?    big_smile

Pop by if you're in town on a weekend, Patty.   My bug is back on the road too.  Dirty, but running!

Re: Daily driver!!

Wahoo--good for you-- sure will!
I'm hoping to have the bug in town while we are on summer holiday up there this year so maybe we can hit Timmy's or something to.
