Topic: golden beetle car company

So why did the topic get closed? It needs to be kept going so people will know what they are getting themselves into if they choose to have dealings with this company.

Hiya burr,

Your point is well taken.  I had not noticed the topic had been closed when I made my post.

I'm not sure why the topic was closed.  I'm also thinking that this might have been a move made by Darren or Clancy previous to the change in moderators.

I'll go ahead and open it back up.  If any of the other moderators (or Clancy or Darren) have reasons to close it back up I'm sure the rest of us would appreciate a small explanation before doing so.

The best defense against these people is to ding their feedback negatively, and make sure to enter that a prospective buyer can contact you.

It is a shame what happened to the first couple of buyers, but after that point there will ALWAYS be a "buyer beware" when purchasing vehicles on-line or looking for people to do the work.

I guess the moderators just figured... "okay, it's been covered."

Please go to other sites and read about this gem of a company and the unscrupulous owner if you think this happened only to the first couple of buyers.  And how do you leave negative feedback when you have not had any business dealings with this "top notch" company. Go to ebay and read the feedback. How do you fight that? All we can do is keep these threads going on the various forums.
