Actually Sam, no I am not. I dont go around and post stuff in
forums. I am a regular here. I posted it here because this is
where I hang out. As for anti-VWish, you should have learned from
all the discussions that VWoA is anti-VWish. I mean anti-REAL VW
(aircooled).

Re: Please read this

Hey Peter B... I'm sorry, I posted because I happened to agree with _
...
did I offend? I would love to know what I did wrong. I am a newcomer
to
VWs, but I have been round this forum a while, and if you don't like
my
posts, just email me. I don't mind being told off once in a while,
but thekind of sarcasm you are giving off makes me wonder why I am
here at all.

Re: Please read this

Do you know these are one of the most popular cars around today? Do
you also know the company started out by making planes? Did you know
those were the ones used for the attack on Pearl Habor and was the
staple plane for the Japanese Army? I guess we'll have to trash
those as well! Or, we could all move on, we are in the 21st
century.

Mitsubishi made the Zero. It was a light and highly maneuverable
carrier based fighter. They were also used in the kamikaze
attacks.

After the war VW was bankrupt and entirely bombed to shit, later a
british officer(doent remember his name), took over and rebuilt VW
for only civilian and commercial vehicles. At least I remember
reading this a while back. Anyone care to elaborate?

I think you meant Opel, not Opal. It's akin to saying Volkswagon
instead of Volkswagen.
