Topic: '67 bug needs fuses
Where can I get the fuses for my '67? I've tried many autoparts
stores and they just look at them in awe. I am also having trouble
getting the brake lites and turn signals working.

There is an autoparts store owned by Sears that is called Parts
America. They have the fuses that you are looking for. If you
don't have a Parts America around you, than you may be able to stop
at Sears and talk to someone.

Advance Autoparts also carries fuses for VW's (they also fit other
German cars like new BMW's and Mercedes). Advance Autoparts used to
carry fuses that looked exactly like the original fuses (color-coded
plastic with a thin metal strap running lengthwise), but have since
changed to a different fuse supplier and are now the clear,
glass-cylinder type. The amperages are stamped into the glass type
and molded into the original type. Just ask for fuses for a German
car, they've got 'em. Another note: Advance Autoparts recently
merged/bought controlling stock in Parts America stores. Over the
next few years, all Parts America stores will be converted over to
Advance stores.
Try Rocky Mountain Motorworks In CO...they've got em for sure....
