Since this thread was basically about someone on E-Bay asking way too much for an air-cooled VW...which I think that we all during the beginning of this thread had a pretty good laugh & discussion.

But since then this thread has kind of "evolved" into something else "off-topic"...how about we "call it a day"...and start some new threads/discussion's?

Typical response from people like yourself.  So what you are saying is that we should let you post rude, ignorant, smart alek remarks in the middle of our posts, but we need to the bigger person and ignore you.  Let you have your fun.  Instead of it being the other way around, in which you grow up, respond with helpful information and when you want to be crass, start your own thread, instead of taking over someone elses.  Trust me if this board had an "ignore" button, like chatrooms do, I would have already clicked it.

Even after your insight and "research" you are still here.  I've been visiting this board since the late 1990's.  There are also quite a few others on here who have been on here as long or longer than me.  I haven't noticed this "alpha-male" behavior you claim to see on here.  But then again I don't have the "sixth sense" that you seem to.  Those of us that have been on here for years have seen your kind come and go.  And we are still here.  I think you should check out the samba dot com.  You will find yourself in like minded company over there.

BTW: i wasnt aware of the used german fender drought. if they are so rare, ill sell mine.

Have you been living in a cave?  If you had any real interest in, or knowledge of the VW hobby, you would know how rare and hard to find certain german parts are.  And here I thought you were the fountain of all knowledge.

dont extrapolate someones income or source.  trust me, you dont wanna go there. it wouldnt be right for ME to extrapolate about you and other canadians and say that you are socialists, heavy gamblers, and living "on the dole".  because its simply not true. dont take "snapshots" and think you know. but canada sure does produce a lot of good comedians, maybe thats whats up.
